HERSTELLUNGSPROZESS

Petit Verdot is a red wine grape variety traditionally associated with Bordeaux, France, where it’s primarily used as a blending grape to add color, structure, and tannins to wines. However, in recent years, Petit Verdot has gained attention as a varietal wine in its own right, particularly in regions with warm climates where it can fully ripen.

While not as widely planted as other grapes like Callet or Merlot in Mallorca, Petit Verdot can thrive in the island’s Mediterranean climate, producing wines with intense color, bold flavors, and firm tannins.

Wines made from Petit Verdot have a full-bodied mouthfeel, with a rich and velvety texture.

SENSORISCHE ANALYSE

Clean and bright. Greenish yellow in color. Ripe nose with notes of white flowers, pear, apricot, elderberry and a light note of smoke. In the mouth it is fatty, sweet, unctuous, but with a very good length and freshness. Mineral and slightly bitter that enhances the tension and persistence of the wine.
