Montesión Selección Privada GR 2020

The summer of 2020 was dry and mild, perfect for ripening and phytosanitary conditions of the berries. The Cabernet Sauvignon was harvested the last week of September.

The grapes were selected and harvested by hand near the winery in Porreres. Traditional winemaking methods were used with no added bacteria or yeasts, only spontaneous fermentation respecting the rules stipulated by Demeter International. Temperature-controlled fermentation was carried out in stainless steel tanks and ageing took place in first year French oak barrels for about 24 months before bottling.

Visual: cherry red with some purplish tones and Broad robe. Medium to high intensity.
Nose: it is clearly representative of the variety, aromas of ripe black fruit emerge, in addition to a very spicy touch. Subsequently, it is The slightly smoky and roasted touches from the barrel ageing are noticeable.
Tasting phase: Full-bodied, with soft, velvety tannins overlaid by ripe black fruits that emerge through the long finish. Very dense, pure and super clean fruit.
